Early life (Nahid Rana)

Nahid, a talented cricketer from Chapai Nawabganj, started his cricket journey in 2020 after finishing his Higher Secondary School Certificate. He began as a net bowler at a Rajshahi academy, where his high-speed bowling impressed scouts. His dedication and skill quickly made him stand out, paving the way for a promising future in cricket.

Domestic career (Nahid Rana)

Nahid Rana made his first-class debut on October 31, 2021, for Rajshahi Division in the 2021–22 National Cricket League.

On October 31, 2022, he claimed his maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket, against Barishal Division in the 2022–23 National Cricket League. He finished as the second highest wicket-taker in the tournament, with 32 wickets.

In January 2023, he was selected to play for Khulna Tigers in the 2022–23 Bangladesh Premier League and made his T20 debut on January 24, 2023. In that match, he took 1 wicket for 20 runs from 4 overs, impressing with his pace, consistently bowling around 140-150 km/h. Nahid made his List A debut on March 21, 2023, for Shinepukur Cricket Club in the 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.
